DoubleTake Sports was proud to partner with Football Australia, LIGR, and their rightsholders to deliver live coverage of the 2025 Australia Cup Playoffs, held in Darwin.

Before the Round of 32 officially kicks off in July, the tournament headed north, where four A-League teams – those without automatic qualification – battled for the final spots in the main draw.

In the opening playoff match, the Central Coast Mariners triumphed over Perth Glory, followed by Wellington Phoenix securing a win against Brisbane Roar, punching their ticket to the Round of 32. Both victorious sides now advance to the next phase of the Australia Cup campaign.

DoubleTake Sports provided complete broadcast services for both playoff matches, supporting national coverage on 10Play and Paramount+. The broadcasts featured 5-camera coverage, all remotely produced from our Brisbane Hub, with live commentary contributed from our Hub in Sydney.
