Broadcast free-to-air on the Nine Network, and streamed simultaneously on Stan Sport, coverage included a minimum of 5 cameras for all broadcasts, scaling to 9 cameras for the grand final, at Brisbane’s newly-reopened Ballymore Stadium. Returning to Ballymore for the first time in 3 years, the grand final witnessed a thriller between reigning premiers Wests Bulldogs and the men in butcher stripes, Brothers Rugby Club. The advanced coverage of this grand final included specialty cameras including a cine camera, as well as multiple pre-recorded, fully-produced content pieces. The entire finals series were produced through our exclusive remote production workflows, allowing us to exponentially increase production values, while ensuring our client, Rugby Australia, received maximum return for their investments. All commentary was conducted remote from our studios, except for the grand final, which saw the Nine commentary team relocate to Ballymore for the big dance.
