DoubleTake Sports was proud to produce the live broadcast of the National Schoolboys and Schoolgirls Rugby League Grand Finals last Wednesday, on behalf of the National Rugby League, Nine, and KommunityTV. Hosted at CBUS Super Stadium on the Gold Coast, the doubleheader event celebrated the rising stars of rugby league, showcasing the next generation of NRL and NRLW talent. Both matches delivered exceptional moments of skill and determination – including a dramatic, last-minute try from Palm Beach Currumbin that sealed a thrilling finish and became a highlight of the day. This year marked the return of the National Finals to free-to-air television for the first time in decades, with coverage broadcast nationally on 9GEM, providing a major platform for school-level rugby league. Since 2023, DoubleTake Sports has proudly covered every game of the Schoolboys and Schoolgirls competitions for the NRL and KommunityTV. We were thrilled to elevate the production for the grand finals and help bring well-deserved national attention to these outstanding teams and competitions.
